hey /out/ know any good outdoor related stories that is kid friendly? I am pretty much assigned to come up with some campfire stories that all ages can enjoy and I am a pretty dull minded person and this is quite last minute so I really need your help.

That is rather subjective though. People baby everyone now and get triggered by literally everything under the sun. You'd need to give some examples of what stories/books would be okay. Like all the old childhood story books, I read as a child, are banned in the local library and school because they are too problematic. lol

This, I was gonna suggest Hatchet. Had to read that as a kid and it was pretty good. Not sure how you could put it in a campfire story though

You can always inform them of skinwalkers though anon, I'm sure their parents would love that

Brush up on local folklore. If you can tell stories that are set in the area you are telling them they take on a whole new dimension.

Google the pink monkey campfire story. Good mix of funny and scary and it’s not innapropriate for littler kids or anything. I’d tell that one for my campers when I was working at a summer camp as a counselor.
