Is the city life a literal slave life?
I've been living in a medium sized city for a while now and the thing that hits me the most is how little people here actually do all days and few seem to have real hobbies.
They go to work and after work they go to a sterile gym for an hour, sit by the TV, computer or smartphone in their apartment. They like to claim they love to visit restaurants, bars etc. but it's only a few hours a week in total.
I guess this will be a general thread where we whine about cities and discuss differences
