You can find places in Utah that look like BC, but you can't find places in BC that look like Utah.
I've never been anywhere as wild as BC though. I lived in Sparwood. There were more days that I would see an elk than not. Rams, goats, moose, deer, birds of prey, cougars, and bears were all prevalent as well. Objectively speaking, that specific area was more /out/ than where I am in Utah now (Springville).
