ITT: Post your experiences with hunting trips or hunting lodges.

I haven't hunted since I was a kid and I used to hunt with my dad. I'd love to start going once more, maybe on public land, or maybe at a destination that is specificied for hunting. As I stated earlier, I have only hunted before with someone like my dad to depend on for everything I needed. We hunted on our land with stuff my dad bought and prepared for me. I have so many questions about getting back into hunting, but I'd hate to unload all at once. Just post your experiences, and hopefully it'll clarify my concerns.
