Me and my buds want to go camping, probably over a weekend, but it's made realize how much I actually want to camp and be outside. I quickly realized that in my current situation if I were to camp regularly I would have to camp alone. Any advice for individual camping?

How do you keep yourself busy? Anything cool to do other than the generic hiking or fishing? Are there any essentials for solo camping that you wouldn't need for camping with friends? I was a boy scout so I know plenty about camping but I don't have any experience doing it alone.

I live in Texas so dangerous shit in my area would be snakes and mountain lions. I know how to handles snakes, not the other.
