I can point to 3 different thanksgiving days in Houston in the 1980s where the high was in the 80s. But that is anecdotal evidence not science. Let's look at science. The ground based stations show very little change. The "proof" of global warming comes from the satellites. But the "climategate" emails prove that NASA and NOAA were changing raw data before publishing it.

In conclusion, we all liked it better when we were kids and the world is going to hell.

that graph is deliberately misleading. it makes it look like it ends in the 2000s but that final plot of the "modern warm period" is actually 1855. it's also the inferred temperatures at a location on an ice sheet, which is not a proxy for even regional temperatures nevermind global.

The historical events in this chart are somewhat uncorrelated and misleading. (Immigration into Gaul during the migration period was triggered by invading Huns). Also I can't find the "784 Famine" that killed "one-third" of Europe. Were they thinking of the extreme weather patterns in 535? If that were to have happened, I'm sure we would remember it along the lines of the Black Plague, but if someone has info I'd like to see it. Anyway, I won't lend any credence to this map. Pic related, if this famine did occur it was much earlier.
