>>1393147OP to answer your question the best way to start is google maps and some google searches for stuff as simple as "hikes near me" or "state parks near me." i will say that southern florida- particularly the area down by the keys has some amazing nature (albeit short) nature walks and paddling to island spots. you might also want to start looking around for swimming holes and lagoons that don't have a history of gators.
