>>140259Haha well, here we go.
I ran into what was apparently a village in Ethiopia, when it actually was some criminal outpost. They had two trucks filled with wine bottles, stolen obviously, judging some bullet holes on one a windshield, and they were all around trying to open them in various ways. Some guy even broke them over a bucket and then gathered the wine with a ladle.
Of course, I wasn't welcome there, so several guys grabbed me and strapped me of all my stuff, leaving me only with my SAK that was in a small pouch at my belt which they missed. After having beaten me a bit, some guy who apparently was some important guy around here, who pulled a gun and aimed at me. Out of despair, I took my SAK out, as everyone around me laughed, then I grabbed a bottle of wine lying on the ground nearby, proceeded to open it properly, and hand it to the guy. After a moment of silence, the guy grabbed another bottle of wine and hand it to me, which I opened. Then he grabbed the SAK and tried to open one himself. After some 2-3 minutes, he had finally found out how to open one, and he ordered some grand barbecue to be organized, and we drank wine until late in the night.
The next morning, I supervised some make corkscrews, which they made out of long nails they coiled around a metal bar. They later sold corkscrews to everyone in the area and made good money.
I left a few days later after a touching farewell ceremony, with my bottles full of wine and a pack full of smoked lamb. Pic related, the SAK that saved my life.
