The "Mammut Nordwand HS Flex" jacket.. on paper it is seemingly a fantastic jacket for outdoor activities in the cold. I can't find many tests or Reviews on this jacket, and stretch panels that can withstand a water column of 28.000 mm sounds too good to be true.
Does anyone have any experience or thoughts about it?
I'm in the market for a hard shell jacket for use during the colder parts of the year. Needs to be wind and waterproof, and the areas of use I have in mind are mountain hiking, snowboarding and for use if the sky opens up with a lot of rain. I'm open for suggestions from my fellow /out/ users, and other candidates so far are among others the "Norrona Lofoten Active" Jacket.
Will mainly be used in Norwegian mountains.
