looks like could be used for decent chopper, skinning animals, anything a typical knife could do, and if i had to use it to hunt it looks like it could used as a throwing tool. I'm kinda wondering about it's batoning capabilities though

It's an outdoors knife. You use it to cut cords, skin and gut animals. eat your food, or whittle wood.

An SAK is big enough for that.
