I bought pic related to live off grid on my bike, what should I expect its lifespan to be if I use it everyday, take good care of it in 3 seasons?

Curious about how/what your plans are for living off grid on the bike.... urban? Rural? Beach? Working or keeping your job? How are you going to shower, where are you going to get food?

I used to stealth camp in neighborhoods without a problem, but I’m trying to find someone with a large property that I could trade a free maid service for a spot to sleep and possibly a charging outlet. Already have a friend and maybe my dad that might accommodate me. I have a gym membership for a shower, (or just a hose+ portable shower) the grocery store is a bit of a distance but it’s an electric bike so it’s not that much of an issue. My bike carries my backpack while also being able to take my stuff with me everywhere so it doesn’t get stolen. Still experimenting but it’s working out well.

It just snowed but mostly rain in the 30’s and 40’s here in MD. I’ve only searched for minmimum wage jobs around here but I’m happy landscaping.

This seems fascinating to me because it would seem hard enough #vanlife but to #bikelife seems almost impossible

Mine takes about 5 hours for a full charge, but I want to sell it to get a bike that charges in 2 hours. Outlets are everywhere, could get away with charging it at work or friends house. I lock it up with a $150 Abus ulock at any old road sign or bike stand thing for free parking. I have 2 outfits of merino wool for summer 2 for winter that I wear for a few days before hand washing in my portable shower at the gym with some all in one soap. They dry pretty quick with my body heat.

Sorry boss I haven’t a clue what MD is, rock on bro sounds like you have been delt a shit deck but you appear to be making the most of it.

Good pick on the morieno wool, if you can find a way to work for a golf course things may become easier I only say this because you mention you like land scraping. Other work you may want to look for is kitchen work, I did this a lot as a younger person to insure I always had food.
