G'day s/out/herners, I have a question (which very well may already have been answered before, I don't lurk here much)

Why does anyone use a zippo (apart from aesthetics/cool factor)?
-Dries out (ie. uses fuel even when it's not being used)
-Fiddly to refill
-Flint and wick need maintenance
-Can stop working if dirt gets between wheel and flint

Why not just use bic lighters / books of matches / those 'permanent match' things (Do good quality ones exist?) They store better, are cheaper, and are more disposable, so if one breaks you can just chuck it out and use another.
