In all reality this will form naturally with extended use without cleaning it. But even from the lingo you've been using I would point out "forced" and "aesthetic".
I don't agree with a lot of things that are 'fluff' per se. I don't buy a knife because it looks cool, the closest thing i'd say i'm guilty of is choosing a paracord based on color (but even then it's for purpose if I want visibility or not.)
So I see it as "road dirt" . It represents use and seeing as how you forced it by non traditional means... think of pre ripped jeans, brother.
The other word being aesthetic tells me you did it for the look, not the actual purpose behind it. That to me is fluff which I already explained somewhat.
But as I said originally, it's yours and I'm not one to tell you what to do with what aint mine.
