VG-10 is high carbide and you'll tend to chip out the edge over rolling like on 5Cr-8Cr of the Chink copies (around AUS-6 to 8). It's much easier to fix the edge if you like chopping with your knife.
Plus, the price is like 15 dollars or so compared to 150 for the original.
I've got both, and I rather take the Chink copy when /out/.
If Failkniven went to a mono-steel with less carbides and dropped the price in half, then I'd probably prefer it, as quality is no doubt better and there's less chance of getting an iffy knife.
