I just cut the zippers and bottom out of my sleeping bag and turned it into a quilt, saved about 100g! I’m also building a weird bivy/tent hybrid that doesn’t require stakes, will upload when I’m done

I've always been interested in bivy-tent hybrid, keep us posted anon.

Are there any ultra lightweight tents for two or one that are reasonably priced?

Got one, used to be $22.

Seems OK for what it is. Sprayed with waterproofing. Setup take down very easy even first time.

I'm thinking about making rip stop 1.6oz cover for insulation and rain.

As other reviews say, you want to put something at your head to keep angled tent off.
