Bought these and changed out the insoles to walker/runner and they’ve been great. The inside has fallen apart but the outsole has remained fully intact. Wore them almost daily as a poorfag and an out enthusiast. About to buy a new pair but I still keep my old pair, may see if I can repair the fabric on the inside because of how comfortable they’ve been. Waterproofing did eventually fail, though. But that was years after hard use, so that’s not surprising at all. 8/10 and will definitely buy again.

I've worn the low version of these as my daily drivers for 5 years now. The insides are still decent, but have had to make glue repairs to hold the soles on both sides of both shoes, which I don't really mind, but yes, the waterproofing is long shot. I'm about to finally get a new pair for Christmas, as they are indeed the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned in 45 years of living.

Pic related are mine, the upper leather is nice but fuck patagonia, seems like they used cum to glue the soles since they keep coming apart.

I should probably contact costumer service but I live on the east side of the big pond and shipping this shit around will cost more than it's worth.

tl dr; Do not buy them.

Nothing about Patagonia seems like quality anymore. I’m sure at one point they did really well and nice to quality but I really just see rich people wearing the brand as a symbol.

Booting cuz the boot you posting is a very good looking boot and made me start researching

My GTX ultras after their maiden voyage. I’ve gotten to take the boots all over since then. I normally hate wearing boots but these are comfy and well built.

I don't have much experience with other of their gear but it was definitely a unpleasant surprise. They were not cheap either $150 but it was my fault too, at the time I should have researched rather than impulse buying. I guess of the soles were welted it would be different.

All waterproof boots with any kind of flex will eventually stop being waterproof. Repeated bending creases the waterproof membrane which causes it to break. It's an inevitability.

Their technical clothing is world class but their shoes were never good. There's a reason they stopped making shoes. Also, they contracted the shoes out to a third party. They never made them themselves.
