Which animal has caused you the most bother whilst /out/?

I live in Bongland so honestly the worst I've ever encountered was a bull that I unwittingly entered the territory of. It will be interesting to hear from people who live elsewhere where everything is trying to kill you

Encephalitis scares me more than lyme, ticks are a legit threat more than they're annoying. Flies and mosquitoes are annoying, ticks are dangerous. They ruined a backpacking trip last summer for me.

The mosquitos up here in Alaska can get pretty bad, too.
A lot of people would think bears are the worst, but it's actually pretty easy to avoid bears if you're paying attention.
Moose are the worst problem when you're driving.

Nah in all seriousness, I've seen firsthand the damage a domesticated pig can do so I understand that having an angrier, free-roaming version run up on you is pretty terrifying. Did you drop it? Did you eat it?

Yeah she took maybe 5 of the 14 rounds and dropped when one caught her in the face. I was about 2 miles down the river going to a fishing spot so I just left her rather than dragging her out. Caught some nice catfish and bass that day.
