How exactly do i find a place to camp? I want to find a place where i can hike about10km in. Set up camp all day and hike out in the morning.

I've been looking on the state park website but theres hardly any information on it.

Region would definitely be useful. And I know the difficulties. I live in a huge swath of agriculture in Ohio, and there is practically nowhere to go unless I go across the state. I do a lot of bicycling, and without stealth camping, I can't get to any good sites.

Fucking sucks, man.

Places here are pretty chill with it. Rolling hills, farmland, friendly community (over the age of 35. My generation is full of god awful dirtbags 9/10)

I trap where ever I want to for the most part. The farmers appreciate it and I clear it with them beforehand and have never been told no. Hunting is the same way, although I was told no once. I showed them the equipment I was using and when they saw it was a bow they were 100% about it. They even asked me to teach their son (and the husband now gets in on it too!)
While it may sound like I'm camping in someone's backyard (and I am) you still should consider these backyards.
People live innawoods here.

I'd like to find friendly farmer's that let me camp on their land, but rarely do I find anyone that isn't a total jackass about it. State parks have strict rules on camping, and wilderness/nature reserves don't allow camping.

Kind of hard to find good places, but I suppose it is possible. Even with my bitching in this thread, I've found that Foxfire Camping, east of Nevada and right on the wyandot county line, will allow campers into a large piece of woodland if it's asked about. I think I know where I'm headed next.
