Depends how you count a run in with a bear, if we're counting run ins with the same bear i've had 2 run ins, if we're counting run ins with the same bear twice or in quick succession i've run into 4-6 bears.
Ran into a young black bear at manning park as I was getting water not far from camp, only noticed him because he was crashing through the bushes running away from me about 10-15 meters away. Ran into him again the next morning as I was heading out of camp, this time like 50 metres away, he was happily eating berries, so i made sure to make plenty of noise as I walked by.
Had another run in in the alpine in early fall, I saw the tail end of a black bear running away from me so I unholstered my bear spray and made plenty of noise as i walked onward, another minute down the trail I saw that same bear again, but now I realized it was a bear cub and it was accompanied by its mother and another cub as they ran away from me. I ended up turning back because I didn't want the mother to think I was trying to stalk her babies.
I'm not counting the few times i've seen bears from a vehicle
