>>1415956I find it is best to get something like this then wire in an external battery pack you can have on your hip or in your backpack. Then you can crank the light up to "turbo" and still have a day's worth of power if you so choose. If you are DIY savvy you can make a AA battery clip in thing that just slips into the AA battery slot which is wired to your big battery pack. That way, you don't need to open the device itself and instead just pop in a AA battery or pop in your AA-shaped power adapter.
Most big name cameras have 3rd party wall adapters that have a thing that slides into the battery compartment like that (pic). Which is really nice for DIY people since we can plug it into a big battery in a pack and have tons of power without the need to swap batteries all damn day.
