I'm actually a bit torn at the moment. It's cold here for the south (~50F) and I need to pick up a jacket to go into the woods. I'm thinking I want to pick up a waffle top because those things made me so happy in the Army, and wearing a sturdy spring jacket. The thing about it is, I don't like the reflective, clearly synthetic material and bright colors. I like subtle, sturdy material and dark/earthy colors. Material that the militaries use. I was thinking of picking up one of those old field solid olive drab field jackets with liner from a local surplus store but I really don't want to look like a wannabe faggot out innawoods.
If I could have a dark brown, tan/sand, or green thick jacket of sturdy material (that isn't reflective) and with a hood, I would be golden. I might end up picking up a field jacket anyway because it's the closest thing I can find.
