are there any analog watches that are robust enough for going /out/? can't be too expensive because poorfag and also it'd be nice if it didn't look autistic

Timex Military. $18-25 depending on strap type, unkillable unless you submerse it for long periods of time.

I still have and daily-wear the one I found in the floorboards of a cabin tent at scout camp 25 years ago.

one of the old Soviet made Sekonda can be found second hand cheap but also some of the Soviet watches with 24-hour dial are extremely robust and designed for arctic and Antarctic Expeditions hence the 24-hour dial for when you can't tell whether it's day or night

i find robustness largley overrated, i’ve damage my watchess more going out drinking than I ever did /out/

metal case so you dont snap a lug, quartz movement and unless you’re going to some serious temperature extremes you’ll be ok with a timex, casio or swatch or anything like that

i like swimming outdoors so i prefer a 100m water resistance and I use nato bands so i wont lose a watch if a pin breaks free but ive known plenty of people get by with shitty watches even swimming in the sea/kayaking etc

Just got a Timex expedition off Amazon for like 30 bucks. So far so good, haven't had it long but haven't broken it at work yet. Thought the strap would be more leather than nylon but whatevs.

Obviously the winner is the gshock, but I really enjoy the timing bezel on dive watches for timing cooking and shit in a super quick motion.

Another one to note is seiko's alpinist (pic related) designed directly for /out/ and is just a really cool clockwork watch.

It now looks like complete trash and I need something new, but it still works.

Literally any watch that is water resistant and keeps time is fine.
