Anyone have any experience with things like trail runners for everyday use and other sports?

I don't know shoes, but i know boots. And so far I've been wearing the oboz bridgers for hiking / camping and city use, they are absolutely perfect and incredibly conformable.

I felt picture related (op) last night at a camping store, they are fucking retarded to wear for city use and would feel like wearing soccer / football cleats.

i get the same about duded up gutter trash running mud tires around town... doesn't even rain around these parts 9 months of the year. i was eyeing that. i've worn my current pair to shit. they are blown out on the toes and the tread is gone, so i have to retire them. i was debating buying a new pair because they are easily my favorite shoe of all time but i have a weird hangup buying the same pair of shoes twice in a row. they really are amazing. i took mine from random fort towns in tuscany, to back country scree in utah and the white mountains in NH, they performed like a dream on all terrains-- you got a great deal at 50.
