My Lenovo laptop survived an IED that tossed our truck 15 feet in the air and rolled it. Not mine but Aimpoint and Trijicon optics have remained usable after being shot on dozens of occasions.
At no other point in time has that phrase been either more appropriate or less of a metaphor.
