I discovered Yuru Camp because of /out/ not the other way around. I don't really know anything about anime. Yuru Camp was comfy as hell though. No crazy drama, no degeneracy, just wholesome entertainment. Is there anything else like Yuru camp to watch?

maybe also give natsume yuujinchou or hinamatsuri a try

oh, and i think i liked every gibli film i watched, i suggest you start with princess mononoke
i don't think one would describe it as wholesome but i think it was a great film

yuru camp is actually made by people who go /out/, which, for an anime, gives it a suprisingly authentic feel

the other animes here except for maybe yama no susume were clearly made by LARPers, you won't enjoy them as much since they unfortunately just get so many things wrong. Too bad, because it really breaks the immersion

I don't know any other truly relevant anime besides ones also posted, but tangentially relevant (and good) are the recent anime Hakumei to Mikochi and Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou.

i think the sequel, legend of korra, isn't very good, however
