hey /out/ I am looking for a semi-cheap GPS watch that can tell me my pace when I'm running, and can also help me navigate when I'm hunting or hiking in places with no cell reception. Any suggestions

Garmin Forerunner 235 would be good, I got the Forerunner 735XT and should have got the cheaper option desu. Have tracked both hiking and running and works good.

I just got this today as a Christmas gift. Of course I haven't used it much, but I like the size, weight, it's comfortable, and the other main functions seem pretty good. People complain about the heart rate monitor but it seems relatively accurate.

Nah, it's bigger/twice the weight and has functions that I do not want (map, compass etc). I wanted a watch for tracking my heart rate, distance, and time for running and hiking. The Forerunner 235 has lots of options I won't even use.

All the Garmin stuff is inferior to the suunto watches imo (as well as many other runners I know) on the lower end ambit 3 is by far the best in addition I believe there is a sale on atm. Only downside is there may be a ambit 4 at some point this year. But it will likely cost around $500
