>>1436392>tentseems a bit heavy for what you're getting, but snugpak has a lot of fans and I assume they like it for a reason. If you're not hiking much it's probably quite a decent tent.
>sleeping bagSounds ok
>hatchetCan be handy to have, and I have several hatchets and axes myself, but I find most of the time I don't need it and get by with a knife without much trouble at all.
>thermarestWhich one do you have? Thermarests are great in general, but make sure you have one that goes with the temperatures you're out in. Having an insufficient sleeping pad will be cold, even if your bag is slightly overkill (that's my experience at least).
>groundclothUseless. Ditch it unless you're camping on abrasive rock. Your tent floor will be enough.
>extra tarpDon't see the point of this. You already have a tent. Only scenario where I might bring an extra tarp is when I'm expecting lots of rain, it's a group trip and I want some place dry to hang out and cook.
>sawCan definitely be handy, but again a knife is enough most of the time. Can be great when everything is wet though.
>nalgene, cup, potI find nalgenes to be overkill. Just bring a random water/soda bottle or two. Cup is fine, but I like the foldning plastic cups better (personal preference)
>extra clothesAre you talking about a full set of clothes? That would definitely be overkill. Just bringing some dry sleeping clothes (base layers), an extra pair of socks and maybe an extra pair of underwear, is usually enough. Insulated jacket/fleece is a great thing to have.
>knifeJust bring a mora. Don't get sucked into the survivalist/larp mentality of bringing numerous knives (imo)
>ferroOk, but I honestly prefer a lighter. They're nice though and I sometimes bring one.
>flashlightYep
