>>1431368>>1431447I ain't really planning on dying in Bishop, it's really more of a temporary move so I can just get the fuck out of my current living arrangement, grab some job experience and some /out/ fun while I'm in the area, and then come back with some coin in my pocket. All the times I've been to Bishop I've more been /through/ Bishop on the way to Lake Tahoe (whose Nevada side I find much more tolerable than the California side), Reno, or Yosemite, but the gist I've gotten is "charming, somewhat depressing small town that receives its income from hapless tourists, people who already live there, and through hikers doing the PCT or summiting Whitney".
