When you've been really isolated for a long time, physically and mentally, you start losing the ability to "share a moment" with people. You can be happy alone, and you can be happy with other people, but when you're around others you'll feel like a fraud even though you act honestly, and your chances of having a blissful or satisfying moment will be impeded by their presence.
Depending on how you are, you'll start losing the ability to imagine it. You may try to imagine watching a sunset with a girl that you love, but the girl has no features or voice and as soon as you attempt to imagine those you'll feel a significant sense of shame.
You can still be happy though.
