My pack weight with this tool is about 50lbs, well within what I consider comfortable for all say hiking. Some people bring a deck of cards, some people bring a bag of pot to the woods. I like to bring various landscaping/forestry tools and do random bullshit to pass the time. I've made tree houses, trenches, tunnels, any kind of shelter you could imagine, I've tilled gardens, dug a well, made traps for animals and fish. It all works out well. Great way to pass the time in the woods, making random shit.
Your specialized tools are adding 5% effiency but I'm not going to carry multiple axes with me, I'll carry one large tool and this bad bitch let's me have lots of options. If you really couldn't handle the weight(for some reason) you could only bring the tool bits that you know you would use.
Mini-camping tools don't do the trick, multiple full size tools is silly if you don't have a truck with you or something. This is a great medium and will help you get a lot done.
