I'm going to be moving to Boise, Idaho for school in the summer before deer and elk season. I've never hunted there, don't know the area, and I've only gotten two recommendations from friends and customers on places to go. One being the Horse Ranch Mountains, the other being the Sawtooth National forest. I primarily wondering if any other public lands have really given anyone much luck as far as filling tags goes.

I'm not asking for your secret hunting spot. I'm literally just looking for broad areas so I can go and glass over the summer before the semester starts.
