Hey /out/ I really want to start a /out/ youtube channel, how could I get it popular? I want to kind of go like AlfieAesthetics except ill post more than 2 years in between vids.

What if you did a "for dummies" type channel with a focus on giving basic information in the most efficient way possible while also having good production values?
If I look up "how to tie basic knot that anyone with a good dad knew since they were four years old" I don't want a 20 minute video of dicking around where the guy fails to explain a crucial thing that he does in two seconds so you can't even see it properly.

/out/ cooking is always comfy as fuck to watch. Honestly, I been thinking of doing a YouTube channel similar to primitive technology (completely silent) with just cooking

Yeah similar. In that vid though he shows his whole setting up, i would probably just edit to the cooking/foraging parts, and a bit of hiking/scenery

Be precise, concise and show what you are doing.
Start small and then build on that: videos of 20+ only when you have a fanbase.
