haven't been /out in years, but I plan to do a trip this summer: pic related is my cookware, is there a way to disperse the heat more evenly?
I've tried to make a fried egg in the lid/pan thing, but it got way too hot in the middle area over the flame and the egg immediately started bubbling.

The gas was already on the lowest setting.
I've been thinking about this metal nets from chemistry class, would they do the job?

Also, as I don't want to kill a thread just for my problem: this is a general thread, show your cook stuff!
