Oh anon I have so many. Your post specifically reminded me of just one. I live in a pretty rural farm town, but over the years the farms have been slowly disappearing and turning into neighborhoods. About a 15min ride from home, on the other side of the lake, there are some great hayfields and hilltop farmlands that have been farms for about 350 years. It's not much different than the farmland elsewhere in town but something about this whole region is special to me. Plus this tree along the stone wall is one of my landmarks where I like to stop for a rest and have a drink of water. Vines, poison ivy, wonderful stretching hayfields dotted with clusters of trees, etc. And it gets even better from here.
