Girlfriend turns to me last night. She says she wants to start hiking.
Last time she tried joining the gym with me, she freaked out when I trained to failure and was crippled for a day. Last time I led us on a walk, she fractured her toe on the sixth or eighth mile.


I'm super excited about the prospect of enjoying this together, but don't know how to hold back properly. How do I not fuck this up? What equipment does a normie need to do a day hike? How far do I take her? Is cooking on the trail overdoing it?
