absolutely love it, the most fun I've had outside
I've been doing ~3 runs a week around my local park, about 5 km in 35 minutes with 120 m of elevation gain, which all seems pretty weak even to me but a year ago I couldn't run for 5 minutes
on weekends I go to my local hike which I'm fortunate to have just outside the city center, but I'm really struggling with the 20-30% constant steep angle, this comes out to 4.5 km trail with 650 m of elevation
I mostly end up fast hiking upwards and running down
should I drive further outside the city and find some gentler trails for beginners? or will I adapt to this if I keep at it? how steep is your trail and you like it? do you run with poles? (I just got a small running pack to store them in)
