Lasted a year on average before their "calling" as ward scoutmaster was up and some brand new dude got stuck watching everyone's teenagers.>rarely if ever go out, if so, it's a one or two day thing where we re-learn the same shit over and over againThankfully around the time I was 15 my family moved to an area where the only troop in town was a non-Mormon troop, with willing participants who loved going out, and leaders who stuck around and actually knew what the hell they were doing.
The fact that their system of people being "called by god" was so god-awful even for something that should be basic (take people who like out, then have them teach the boys who like out) that I have 0 faith in their leadership at higher levels.
