We stayed too long and got caught.
The cop was fairly nice about it and to pass the time while he wrote 5 of is tickets, he asked us what we were studying. I lied and said "library science" and he was like "Oh! My wife's a librarian." And I shot back "Well then you know how ridiculous this is!" He thought about it for a bit and then said "Yeah but I have to write you a ticket anyway."
