Currently looking over the Tasmanian Tiger line, but I stopped speaking German around six--the jargon on these reviews escapes me.
People have experience with their gear? Meme-tier or legit?

I'm personally looking for a system to scale, so my primary concerns are molle compatibility and material durability. I've still a few pouches lying around from my Army days, and can lash whatever won't fit to the outside.
Their "modular" clamshell (pictured) caught my eye because I could add or remove parts to fit the specific trip, like a coolbag for stream fishing; a hammock for motocamping; or a filter system for straight backpacking. The laser cut mounting also cuts weight and looks like it will distribute each attachment's load well. Also, having multiple entry zippers reduces strain on the main.
But I have been using surplus gear since childhood, and don't know what civilian focused options are out there. So please. Ask about your own search too.
