I have a question for /out/, besides the more well known methods of getting tinder from natural sources without a tool (like cattail and birch bark) and things such as using a knife to scrape off wood shavings for tinder, what are other, less well known natural sources of tinder? I'm mainly looking for personal experience that has worked well. I like my usual things and I stick to them, but I just happen to be curious.
