You're going to walk a lot. You will see many trees. At the end of it all you're going to realize that you just spent a few months walking and it didn't provide you with some sort of fulfillment or any friends since everyone else was sane enough to bring their friends with them on this trip and they wanted to have a nice time with their friends on the trip not meet random dudes walking a thousand miles by themselves. No one gave you the respect you were looking for. You were just another asshole walking this fucking trail and making the lives of the people who work there harder. At the end of it all, you'll definitely have seen some fucking trees at least.
