I live in los angeles and it is finally sunny again. What can I do to just be outside and enjoy the sun today?

Yesterday I went to the park. There were all the colors, even green. I found a cave, and a stream, and even some weird alien rock thingies (Image familiar).

The only other thing that comes to mind is going down to Santa Monica beach, but are there other suggestions? I miss having a dog.

I live in the center of hollywood, no car but I am bus savvy. Any other city folk know some good spots to go feel naturey?
