I made these today. They're not quite finished, still have the steepest bit to go.

Sorry for rotation. Stoneworking with random garden stones and earth is one of my favourite crafts. Probably because it looks so old and characterful straight away.

Looks cool. I love running into stuff like this. I live in northern Kentucky and just about every creek bed is filled with natural clay. I want to make a small hovel with it but I'm not quite sure what tools I'll need and if I can get away with baking it with fire. We've had heavy rain for a few weeks as well so it should be malleable but I doubt it will hold without baking. Any help appreciated.

It's at the extreme edge of a friend's large woodland. I'm building him paths around it because it's very hilly, it's not in the middle of nowhere.

However if this was in the middle of nowhere, it wouldn't be doing any damage to nature. It's just rocks and dirt that were already there, theres no plant or animal that is affected by that. It would be super fun to have a camp far out in the wilderness and gently landscape the area around it so it was like some elven kingdom. Lot of work though for land that isn't yours.

Has nobody else got stuff they've made?

For a hovel I would build a broad circle of drystone wall about 2 feet thick and 3 high. Then use thin logs to make a tepee on top
