Sometimes I feel like I'm the only buddhist on this board. Seon, zen, and really most mahayana practices are incredibly comfy and /out/. As a young man I was raised baptist, but never felt the same divine connection until I began to practice buddhism, and it has genuinely changed my life for the better. After being a strict nonbeliever for so long it was uncomfortable at first, but accepting the unknown is an important part of spiritual development and development in life. If you're asking because you're desperately searching for something, I can recommend reading into buddhism or even the dao. Even if you decide that isn't what's calling you, at least you'll leave with the experience and knowledge (which is what /out/ is really all about) and the gratification of even trying.
