I know the feeling OP, they are trying to frack my county despite the majority of the populace and the council refusing permission, the government overruled them. Google "Preston New Road, Lancashire". There are police forces outside the gate 24/7 and they are pretty much hired thugs. I have seen them overlook site security strangling a protester on the pavement by the entrance, but grab old ladies and young girls and throw them into bushes because they waved a sign too vigorously. Its threatening to fuck with the local environment, and they are trying to get it into the National Parks too.
Im pissy, especially as the protesters are insisting the peace is the way forwards. I offered to drill them in polearm use and how to drive the officers off with closed ranks, but they dont want to. (Britbong officers)
