>>148599>If you're refilling from a faucet, then the same amount of water goes into it as it does in a wide-mouth Nalgene.Sure.
>If you're refilling from a basin, the narrow mouth doesn't make it that much more difficult to allow water to come in.It does actually. Air has to come out, it's much faster on a wide mouth.
For all other cases, a wide mouth is superior. I don't come across many faucets and basins of clean water outside.
>How is it that much easier to clean? Both mouth versions are dishwasher safe.Well you can sure put it in a dishwasher, but have you ever tried it? It doesn't clean shit. Especially on, well, a narrow mouth bottle.
This
>>148256 works wonders. Hell, a stick and a rag are enough to clean it. Which is great, because you know, I don't often come across diswashers outside.
With your logic, I wouldn't even need a bottle, because I have a faucet with near limitless water and a glass. This is an outside board.
As I said, if you want a narrow mouth, just pay $5 for a narrow mouth cap, and put it on a wide mouth bottle, and you have the best of both worlds. There really can't be a debate about this, it's perfectly settled.
