anybody bring an instrument when they go /out/? a couple of my buddies bring harmonicas/guitars/etc. but I just bring an alto recorder. It's easy to carry and it seems that most of the fauna enjoys the sound.

I've brought my accordion /out/ once when I was camping in my bf's jeep. Lugging that thing around would be pretty inconvenient on a hike though. I also play a few other instruments, but they are delicate and bulky/heavy. If I brought an instrument with me, it would be a harmonica. Not sure what kind though. Recommendations?

maybe get one of those tiny melodions/melodicas so you can get the best of both worlds. i asked my friend and he said you can't go wrong with any of the hohner brand harmonicas, he uses one called the hohner marine band. hope i could help. picrel is said harmonica that ive heard hours of blues from :)
