Get yourself a good headlight that has multiple settings including red (a dim low light setting doesn't hurt either). Make sure you keep the headlamp angled down on its pivot. Try to do any camp work as close to the ground as possible.

It also doesn't hurt to have a small flashlight with a red light setting and the ability to telescope in and out with the beam.

Try to reframe from using any white light if you can. another benefit of using the red light only, is that red light will not kill your night vision, allowing you to use even less light and thus stay hidden better.

Also,
Most tents and backpacks will have some sort of reflective design or coating on it. Pitch camp in your backyard one night and use a flash light to find out what parts stand out and find a means of covering them.

When you make camp, learn to do so at night in the dark.

Im not sure what your shelter set up is light, but I have a double walled domed 2 person tent that I backpack with. If I take the rain fly off, my tent is then essentially a big bug net with a bathtub floor. The bug net portion is practically invisible against any terrain.

I own a plot of land in the interior of BC and nothing makes me more upset then when i drive up to camp and i see trespassers have littered,cut down my trees,or Hunt my game (although i dont hunt but i allow my friends to).

It is a nice spot for camping and if people ask me if they can use it i am more than willing but when strangers just use it for what ever it bothers me, especially in the summer with wild fires i really do worry about people who dont know much burning down my peace of earth.
And btw just because you own land doesnt mean you are rich.

we have a universal right to travel and camp on unused land. it has been like that since before usa was even discovered. no land ownership will ever come above that right no matter how many times a property is sold and bought or how much you pay for it. shure if you build a house there then they have to take a detour around it and not step on your lawn, camp in your backyard or scare your livestock but thats comes with the right to travel. these rights have been written in various forms in the law over the years and no politicans will ever think about touching them, they are such a important part off having a proper /out/ culture. you americans are cucked from getting out and its a joke you guys even post here at all.
