I need some serious advice. Next month I will be going one a three day trip with my younger brother. Unfortunatly, this will be my first trip of that sort and he doesn't know shit either. So, apart from common sense and some basic knowledge, we are pretty much on our own out there. I have gathered some gear over the last few month, nothing specially bought for this trip, but I think it will fit my needs. What I want to ask you guys: What part of my equipment is rubbish, what of little use for a short-term trip and what am I missing?

The whole stuff will be devided between his and my backpack and most of it is rather lightweight. So, will I make it back alive?
