Hey guys just a little memorial today. My /out/ uncle was found dead this morning. He had Addison’s disease but has been on meds for a long time and was very healthy lately. He was over 50 years old and just went kayak fishing in the freezing cold about 2 weeks ago. He taught me everything about fishing and took me out on his John boat all the time when I was a annoying little kid. He was the best! This was so unexpected and really hit me. I mostly just lurk here but this is just a reminder to tell your /out/ family you love them.
He was truly our kind of guy. Fished every weekend, and loved camping, and died a single man still making restaurant waitresses feel awkward. He had an amazing sense of humor and was seriously loved by all. He knew no strangers.
Really gonna miss him and was planning on making lots of memories with him this summer and I’m devastated I can’t.
